Nicki Minaj werd geboren als Onika Tanya Maraj in Trinidad en Tobago. Vanaf 2007 begon ze mixtapes te maken, en al snel werd ze ontdekt door rapper en producer Lil Wayne. Hij bracht haar onder bij zijn label “Young Money Entertainment” en sinds 2010 scoort Nicki Minaj hit na hit. Het kon ook bijna niet anders dan een groot succes worden, want aan haar eerste album, Pink Friday, werkten onder andere Rihanna, Natasha Bedingfield, Drake, Will.I.Am, Eminem en Kanye West mee.

Naast haar muziek is Nicki Minaj natuurlijk ook beroemd door haar grote billen. Heeft ze nu wel of niet bilimplantaten? Het heeft de media flink bezig gehouden. Haar billen en borsten zijn ook altijd prominent in beeld in haar muziekvideo’s, vooral met haar clip behorende bij “Anaconda” choqueerde ze door in een stringetje te twerken. Ook de teksten van haar liedjes zijn duidelijk niet bedoelt voor kinderoortjes. Wat de betekenis van haar laatste nummer “Truffle Butter” dat durven wij hier niet eens op te schrijven, dat moet je maar googelen!!
